Balaji Chandrashekar Phutane

Balaji is a UX designer with more than twelve years of experience in user-interface design for the Web and embedded, mobile, and desktop applications, working in diverse domains, including aviation, logistics, staffing, on-demand services, healthcare, education, and entertainment. He takes a user-centered design approach and consistently conducts user research during discovery. He is proficient in creating low- and high-fidelity prototypes for hybrid and native applications in agile and Lean environments. Balaji has worked with clients in the US, UK, and Europe. He is keenly interested in product design, design thinking, storytelling, artificial reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality(MR). Balaji studied interaction design at the University of California, San Diego, and holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Vivesvaraya Technological University.
